Making the eco-friendly business case: Transport Canada ecoFreight videos

In June 2010, Ascribe developed the concept and wrote the video script for a web vignette detailing the Marine Shore Power Program—an initiative under Transport Canada’s ecoFreight program that aims to reduce cruise ship emissions at Port Metro Vancouver. Ascribe was then asked to write the scripts for two more videos: a pair of three-minute profiles looking at how, with the help of ecoFreight funding, other transportation organizations in Canada have installed and adopted new technologies to reduce both the operating costs and environmental impacts of freight transportation.
