In 2012, Alcatel-Lucent’s Market & Consumer Insight team studied the phenomenon of ‘neo-urbanization’ in India: how the advantages typically associated with urban living (better education and health care, more job opportunities) are becoming increasingly accessible in rural areas due to the proliferation of information and communication technologies. Called in to restructure, edit and rewrite a 45-page e-book on Alcatel-Lucent’s research, our writers ensured the findings from India were presented in easy-to-understand, accessible English — and that the narrative clearly and logically described how technology is changing both rural and urban society. In addition, we also proposed the framework and wrote the copy for an accompanying white paper summarizing the e-book’s key points.
