BRINGING CLARITY TO A COMPLEX TOPIC: CCSA ANNUAL REPORT

The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) works to achieve national-level consensus and collaboration among stakeholders addressing the complex, often controversial issue of substance use and abuse. Ascribe has written CCSA’s annual report since 2005, each year seeking to demonstrate not only the organization’s progress in priority areas but also how the conversation around substance use and abuse continues to evolve. In 2013–14, for example, we focused the report on how CCSA helps provide a clear signal through the noise that often surrounds substance use and abuse, making it possible for frontline agencies and policymakers to take consistent action with confidence.
