A CLEAR CASE OF INNOVATION
The Center for Connected Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is a showcase for advanced health technologies developed by UPMC (the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, one of the world’s largest payer-provider organizations) and its array of top-tier technology partners: Nokia (formerly Alcatel-Lucent), IBM and GE Healthcare. Ascribe was invited to write a series of case studies on UPMC’s partnership with each of those organizations — shedding light on how UPMC has pursued network, IT infrastructure and health application innovation over the past decade, earning it the distinction of being one of the most connected enterprises in the U.S.A. To develop the case studies, Ascribe interviewed nearly a dozen project leaders and executives from each of the organizations involved, digesting their insights into a trio of concise, four-panel pieces.
"I have worked very closely with Ascribe on our annual sustainability report over the past several years. Their team has repeatedly proved its ability to meet tight timelines, handle large volumes of content from multiple contributors, work rapidly and efficiently — and deliver consistently high quality with agility. They are responsive, responsible, professional and a joy to work with."
