REFRESHING FCM INTERNATIONAL WEB CONTENT
In spring 2013, Ascribe was called in by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to help revamp the web pages for the organization’s International programs. The challenge was to evolve the presentation of FCM International’s web content — making it briefer, more relatable and relevant to a broader readership — within the established structure of the FCM site overall. Taking existing written content as a starting point, Ascribe worked with the FCM International team to re-think the structure of its pages and conducted a roundtable session with team members to draw out key messages and priorities. Developing a fresh, more direct style for the content, Ascribe wrote and edited dozens of pages, emphasizing the value of FCM’s programs abroad — to municipalities in the countries where it works and here at home.
