AN IN-DEPTH LOOK AT KEY ISSUES OF MENTAL HEALTH: MHCC WEBSITE REFRESH
Following a successful event coverage assignment for the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), Ascribe was asked to help develop content for the organization’s significant website refresh in 2012. To prepare entries on nearly 20 topics across the spectrum of MHCC activities — from stigma and substance abuse to First Nations and family caregivers — our team interviewed program coordinators and subject-matter experts to understand the broad context and specific initiatives associated with each. Written in an easily accessible style for general readers, the initial phase of work was well received, leading to the invitation to develop additional content for the site in 2013 — this time profiling the results of MHCC’s At Home / Chez Soi initiative in five cities across Canada.
“I realized that, in the hustle and bustle of the final morning, I never wrote to thank all of you for your remarkable work over the course of the conference. The jury was equally impressed with your ability to capture their conversations and summarize the material so concisely. Sincere thanks from all of us — and looking forward to the next opportunity to collaborate with your team.”
