PROMOTING SAFE SCIENCE THROUGH REGULATORY CHANGE
In early 2017, Ascribe was asked to write the first-ever annual report for the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Centre for Biosecurity. Through a facilitated session with the director general and the directors of the Centre’s four offices, we established a thematic concept and structure for the report. Interviews with senior leaders provided perspective on how the Centre ensured the successful implementation of a new regulatory regime for biosafety and biosecurity in Canada. We wrote the full content of the report, working closely with a local design partner, and provided descriptive text for images and tables to produce an accessible PDF version.
